Animated pixilated archival images of hand-loom weaving labour - often by women, and invisible. The headroom industry in Asia suffered a major decline due to European mass manufacture. The use of weaving demonstrations in various Empire exhibitions, correlates a decline in industry with a rise in exhibition display.
